Ghost Adventures-Celtic Demons

"It's deeper than you perceive as paranormal."

That utterance from Zak Bagans in the woods surrounding The Hell Fire Club is something that at some point in a true paranormal investigator/researcher's life we all utter when we are dangerously close to the light.

I'm not talking about the light when you die, I'm talking about the light that allows one to see into the darkness.  The light that allows one to see what the darkness holds.

I actually found this year's Halloween episode hard to sit through the first time.  I had to go back and watch it on DVR and take notes, disconnect myself from the emotion, the disturbing emotion.

First up was the place where the Goddess Morrigan is said to arrive from:

Zak seemed a bit giddy at the opportunity to possibly come in contact with Morrigan.   Morrigan is not one to be toyed with, period.  She comes or calls you, you should never call her.  She is one of the Pagan Goddesses who will stalk you through your waking and dreaming hours.

If she likes you.  If she does not you are in for one hell of a life.

Although, I saw Zak's features seem to change I can not say for sure they had any actual contact with the Goddess.  Blessed Be is all I would have said at the end of that day.

The guys broke up, Zak and Aaron went up to the Hell Fire Club on Montpelier Hill and I think they took that on because of Aaron's history with the Hell Fire Caves in England and the ritual he did there.

 I visited there on my tour of Ireland.  The good thing about having Irish roots, my dad has family there.  I was not very comfortable there, during the day.  It seems to be a bit of a ramshackle place, cold, dark and dank.  I will agree that a ring of salt does in fact signal some sort of calling.  The person(s) standing inside are in it to protect themselves from what they are calling.

You see both Zak and Aaron become more aggressive, rude and hostile toward each other during their visit.  Aaron's voice even changes while trying to keep Zak out of the one room.

I did use my headphones on the TV and listen to the male EVP, it sounded to me like the male voice said, "I killed the or that woman".

I wonder if Aaron brought that stone back home with him.

They had glass & pebbles seem to move on the floor, you can hear like something scratching at the dirt. After their experience the night before this was where I had to leave the room, I was myself becoming so emotional, I just wanted to hug Aaron because I know the feeling and I will say this, weather Zak, Nick or Aaron ever read this blog,

What has been chosen as your path, you have to look inside yourself and be right with yourself to look the devil in the face and walk away.  You WILL be scarred, inside and that never goes away but you will learn what you need to learn. Always be careful what you wish for.

Nick and Billy took to investigating Leap Castle.  When I visited there I wasn't sorely impressed except for the dark figure in the Bloody Chapel.  Myself and my dad's cousin did witness a dark figure in there, seemingly trying to "hug" the wall.  It moved along the wall in a snake like fashion along the floor, I left quickly as I became very queasy and uneasy.

Again, you see a change in Nick, he becomes emotional, agitated, and his voice changes.  He did seem as if something might have been trying to attach itself to him.

Upon listening to the EVP he captured, it sounded like, "something grandmother".

The Steward's House:  Ok, I myself happen to love black cats but what the hell.  Zak, Nick and Aaron come to town and a black cat appears.  That poor guy was terrified he had seen a black cat. I will say it takes balls to keep poking evil things.  It was Albert Einstein who once said, the definition of Insanity is to keep doing the same things over and over expecting different results.  In the case of GAC it may lead to insanity.

Jay turned the painting upside down, Zak looked it in the eye.  They heard loud noises, footsteps, a cat meow and a lady screaming.

Let's talk a sec about the Banshee,  I have heard a Banshee.  I was lying in my bed and it screamed right in my ear.  My father passed away one year later, so the Banshee is something I will attest to believing in.

The Noooooooo in the woods as not a Banshee cry BUT the one heard while inside the Steward's house sure as hell sounded like it.

Loftus Hall:  Ok, I'll admit I did take the tour of the house when they opened it for tours.  Personally I would have loved to go upstairs.  The energy there is amazing, I'd live there and love to restore it to it's old glory. It is hella creepy when the fog overtakes it but....

I did hear through headphones when they had the SB7 in the Tapestry Room what sounded like singing, that was weird.

When Zak was on the third floor I did hear, "I knew you would help or come". That EVP was creepy because it is whispered and seemed to be directed at Zak himself as if whoever said it knew he would come.  The he being Zak or is it some sort of residual just repeating the same phrase to all who enther the third floor.

This was a rough episode for me to watch & I know through what Zak & Aaron for the most part have tweeted about their experience (Aaron has posted a blog about it). They were more aggressive, rude, and nasty to each other.  I do feel it was a direct result of poking at evil things on a continued basis.

Nick did not seem "present". He seemed detached from the whole experience, more so after being in the bloody chapel.

Aaron just seemed not to fully grasp (yet) what has happened.  All I can say is there is light at the end of that tunnel it just takes a lot of work.

Zak, well, Zak is a whole other ball game.  He is in the darkness, I'll call him out on that.  I've been there.  I have travelled the same road and he'll get his answers, he may not believe them or want them but he'll get them.  I think Zak's answers are where it all started.  I don't believe Zak truly understands what he is asking for and I hope he can handle it when he gets it.

In the paranormal some are allowed to touch evil or evil touches us. I think in the case of the GAC, Zak has touched, Nick and Aaron have been touched.   It's how you handle it that makes you able to deal.

Overall I enjoyed the Halloween special, I would have liked a bit more of the history as Ireland has loads of history involving the paranormal and the beliefs, some of which are still practiced today.

Zak Bagans Demon House

So fans of The Ghost Adventures tweet Zak all the time asking about his "demon house".
Well here is a bit of an answer as to what's going on with it.

He returns to the house in December to finish filming a documentary on the house but wow, can't wait to see this "excorsism" of a girl that went into the house, I doubt she had been invited in but LOL

The video may not play, not sure if it's set that way or if there is a problem with the TMZ web site.

Ghost Adventures-Island of the Dolls

I'll admit knowing that Zak Bagans is, you could say terrified of dolls (as witnessed by the look on his face)

That's pretty much the look I had on my face when I visited the island back in 1998 when Don Julian was still alive.  I went during the day and I love seeing others visit.  I loved when Josh Gates & the Destination Truth crew went.  Zak and Aaron had a few of the same experiences that crew had, mostly the lights.

I ignored most of the "set-up" knowing the history and watched when night fell.  I saw the fire spark from behind the chair & waited for the guys to comment, an invite perhaps? Have a seat?

I am sorry Zak, I found your reaction hysterical BUT only as someone who has been to the island, has hated dolls her entire life (I used to pay my brothers to throw them on the roof whenever my mom bought me one) and to see you have the same sort of reaction I just found funny, I do hope it helped you cope a bit with your fear, kudos to you and Aaron for taking it on.

My trip there was during the day and the canals were creepy, black and there was a weird smell I couldn't put my finger on.  While walking around there were whispers, like people talking off in the trees and you couldn't see them.  The strange frequency and something that sounds like singing, We were told the locals say that is the mermaids calling, I heard it as we were getting back on the boats to leave.

The dolls were creepy yes, but come on, they are mostly old, rotting and why wouldn't a spirit want to have a blast scaring the tourists, which it wasn't such a tourist spot when I went. It was an interesting personal experience, would I go back?  Hell yeah!!  Would I go at night? Nope!!
and if I saw a spider the island might go up in flames.

Now for Harold, I get the experiment to see if the spirit(s) inhabiting Harold might come out and either stay on the island or somehow interact with at least one of the spirits but it really seemed Old Harold was going to have none of that.  I think the spirit(s) inside Harold may have had an influence on the energy.  I would have forgotten Harold on the island, accidently on purpose.

I think that Zak went there knowing what was in store and having a pre-existing fear of dolls might have been a bit worked up (natural).

I would love to see the guys do an investigation where they don't know where they are going (would have to be US of course, since you can't take a blindfolded passenger on a plane) and watch to see what they get from the location, a blind investigation.

Next week is The Halloween episode, Celtic Demons, can't wait.  Leap Castle and Hellfire Club.  I've again been to both and will watch with interest to see what they capture.

Yes, I travel a lot

The interesting thing, a black cat in a village where there hadn't been one seen in forever. Yet, Zak appears and a black cat appears, interesting.

You can see Aaron's VLogs on the travel channel webbie,

It will also be interesting since the Halloween episode is rumored to be Nick's last.

Ghost Adventures-Zozo Demon House

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!

Ok, I'm going to be blunt & honest in this blog post. If you have not seen the show and do not want to know anything read no farther.

If you disagree with what I write, oh well. From my life long personal experiences with spirits, demons and a Zozo calling I may say things that piss off the everyday Ghost Adventures viewer who watched last night's episode, so, moving on.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First off, I did get physically ill watching last night's show.  It was chaotic, fractured and there was no actual lock down.
Zak, as much as one might think he had his shit together, did not.  He was affected by the presence. He ended up going and sitting alone, looking a bit strange.
Nick, Also affected.  He looked for a bit like something was trying to take control or enter his body.
Aaron, where the hell was Aaron. Hardly saw or heard him, that worries me.
Jay, Well he got closure but what's attached to Darren, not so much. I was not shocked at all that Jay did what he did.
Those who have read this blog know I have had an encounter with a Zozo demon in Africa.  What I saw in last night's Ghost Adventures while very scary and something to be very worried about was in my opinion  not an actual Zozo Demon.  It was more some dark entity playing at being one.
The way a Zozo appears is very specific from what I've always been told.  The fact that everyone involved was affected by the entity from the smell of feces to the feelings of an electricity charged environment and the separating of the entire team says demon activity.  The one thing I did not hear anyone say was that they smelled sulpher which comes along with demon activity but not attachments.
I have read the accounts of the demon house activity over the years and although I feel it is not a Zozo demon it is some kind of demon. However, what is attached to Darren is something that can be controlled and banished/bound.
Darren, the owner of the home started with, in his words, a menacing but beautifully handcrafted double sided Ouija which was found underneath a girlfriend's grandmother's home. It was surrounded by old lightning jars each with a preserved blackbird inside. The jars were covered in an oily white grease like substance. He managed to clear away some of it and upon holding it up to the sun he found himself staring into the blood filled eyes of a very well preserved blackbird!
The dark side of the board had Zozo inscribed in place of the Ouija, with wings on each side. Strange symbols were also carved into the board, along with candle wax drippings, sinewed strategically all over, some forming tentacles that actually continued over to the other side, a large William Fuld squared off board. Almost looking like the dark side was latched onto the other side.
Now, although this might signal someone using this board to call a Zozo this is not how HooDoo priests call a Zozo. This is however how VooDoo priests and other dabblers in the dark arts call and or bind a demon/spirit entity and that is all I will say on the subject of calling/binding.
Whatever was bound to this board was released when it was dug up and subsequently attached itself to Darren. After my reaction to just the film and only scenes which Darren was in.  The entity is not actually within the house it is attached to Darren and if you watch anyone who comes near him is affected.  It enjoys his energy. I am in no way saying Darren is not affected by this entity, he has an attachment who likes him. His wife being attacked, his daughter being attacked was because the entity wants him and him alone.
I was not surprised by my reaction, I expected to get ill from this. The only other time I have had a reaction to a Ghost Adventures episode is Bobby Mackey's and I refuse to watch that just like I refuse to go into the place itself.
Now to deal with the "Kill, Nick" piece.  If you know how spirits communicate and how an Oujia works this in no way actually meant KILL Nick.  This was a very telling piece since we all know what has happened with Zak, Nick & Aaron (Nick only filmed 6 shows of season 10).
What the entity (and I'm not saying it was the same entity that is attached to Darren)it found a weakness within the team and has exploited it.  The team is now fractured and separated.  After ten seasons of hearing how Zak has had attachments and watching him squirm while the protection/cleansing was being performed and how Zak wandered off alone I would venture to guess it is an entity attachment on Zak.
Robert Murch is 100% right when he says, it's what you believe.  There are spirits/demons who have a wait and see attitude.  They wait for who is open to them and take advantage. Divination devices such as Oujia boards, Tarot cards, dice, Witch stones are all just that, used for asking and answering questions from spirits.  It all revolves around knowing how to use the devices, opening circles and being responsible and closing them. It is all how much stock you put into the beliefs but understanding the ancient beliefs is something everyone must do to be responsible when using such items.
Not understanding the history is irresponsible and leaves not only yourself open to the things that go bump in the night but your family, friends, others.  When I left my old house (which was horridly over run with spirits) I did a closing so that the next owners might not have the problems I grew up with, I hope everyday it worked.
